USA 1872 Box model
- In USA the patent appication had to be equipped with a model of the object in a smaller scale, to show the most vital principles of the invention. This is the patent model that was made in connection with the 1972 US patent application. It belongs to the Smithsonian Institution, which also owns an 1878 full scale model
