MY DEAR  B R O T H E R !

I AM AWFULLY HAPPY THAT YOU CAME TO STOCKHOLM; I HAVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT YOU ALL DAY, BECAUSE WE HAVE HAD A LOT OF SHOWERY WEATHER HERE, AND IF THAT OCCURS OVER THERE IT WOULD REALLY DESTROY THE ENJOYMENT. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR LETTER, THAT TELLS ME THAT YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT MOOD FOR PARTYING AND ENJOYING.

A CERTAIN SOMEONE1 HAS WRITTEN A HAPPY LETTER TO OUR DEAR SWEET MOTHER, AND I WILL NOW ALSO SEND HER ONE; THIS WILL GIVE HER SOMETHING ELSE TO THINK ABOUT, INSTEAD OF HER MISGIVINGS ABOUT ALL THE THINGS THAT MIGHT OCCUR DURING YOUR JOURNEY.

THE LAST TWO DAYS I HAVE SOLD THREE MACHINES, WHICH IS VERY GOOD ! –

WARMEST REGARDS FROM ALL OF US, MOST OF ALL FROM THE ONE YOU-KNOW-WHO, AND OUR BEST WISHES FOR A SUCCESFUL AND ENJOYABLE TRIP.

                                               YOUR DEVOTED BROTHER

1 SA: I think this "certain someone" must be the woman that RMH met in his youth and fell in love with; Anna Stennstrup, who soon will become his second wife. According to the family Anna could never forget her great love from her young days, and have never married, but waited for him.
