YOUR GRACE[1] !
IN CASE YOUR GRACE MIGHT WISH TO PURCHASE A WRITING BALL ALSO FOR THE LOTTERY CONNECTED TO THE ART AND INDUSTRIAL EXHIBITION, I HEREBY TAKE THE LIBERTY TO INFORM YOU THAT THE BEST SPECIMEN OF THE MACHINES I AM CURRENTLY EXHIBITING, THE ONE THAT IS PLACED BY ITSELF IN A GLASS CASE, IS FOR SALE AT THE PRICE OF 250 RIX-DOLLAR. IT SHOULD BE NO SURPRISE THAT THIS PRICE DOES NOT TALLY WITH THE PRICES I PREVIOUSLY QUOTED, WHEN SENDING MY WRITING BALLS TO THE EXHIBITION. THE DISCREPANCY IS BECAUSE OF THE FACT THAT THE MACHINES HAVE BEEN SWITCHED SEVERAL TIMES. ______THE SAID SPECIMEN IS ON SHOW DAILY FROM 12 O´CLOCK TO 2 AND FROM 4 TO 6. IT USES ONLY LOWER CASE LETTERS AND WRITES BEAUTIFULLY.

SA: This is Georg Christensen, 1819-1883, who was the initiator of the Art and Industrial exhibition in Copenhagen, 1872, where he was responsible for the organisation and the placement of the different sections. At the 1872 Exhibition RMH was awarded with a First Price Medal.
