    Dear friend Collin !

 

Excuse me, but I am impatiently waiting for a decision.  Let me refer to “Nationaltidende”[1] itself:The other day there was a statement from “Temps”[2] about the Museum of Northern Antiquities with an introduction that led me to believe that the statement in “Times” may be inserted, since it may be assumed that it would be much easier for an institution (supported by many people) to become noticed, than it would for a single person.   Let me once again refer to “Nationaltidende” and the enclosed article captioned “Too Late”.

[1] JMC: Newspaper at which Edgar Collin, a close friend of RMH, was a journalist and staff member

[2] SA: Extremely difficult to read RMH’s handwriting in this letter. The newspapers RMH is refering to, are probably the Frensh paper "Le Temps" and the English newspaper "The Times". Apparently RMH has been supplying translations of articles from one or both of these papers to Edgar Collins with the intention of having Collins quote from them or summarize them in “Nationaltidende”.

But was is the actual topic of this letter, and what decision Malling-Hansen is waiting for, we don't yet know.
